AutoWebP Responsive Image Engine
PRIVATE • LOCAL • HIGH QUALITY

Build complete multi-format responsive image sets in one click.

Drop one image or an entire batch. AutoWebP decodes major still-image formats locally on your device, normalizes supported JPEG/TIFF source orientation before resizing, preserves aspect ratio, generates the responsive widths and output formats you choose, and packages the finished files for immediate download.

Rendering

Transparency: WebP, AVIF and PNG can preserve alpha. JPEG and BMP flatten transparency. GIF output is a single still frame. Animated inputs are processed as a still-image workflow.

Supported inputs: JPG/JPEG/JFIF, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC/HEIF, TIFF/TIF, GIF, BMP, SVG and ICO. HEIC/HEIF and TIFF use local-running decoder fallbacks when required. AVIF uses native encoding where available and a local-running WebAssembly fallback otherwise.

Responsive image widths

Select every device size you want generated. Widths at or above the source image are skipped automatically.

WORLD-CLASS WORKFLOW

Everything needed for modern multi-format responsive images.

Purpose-built around practical website image production rather than a one-file converter.

01

Multi-step high-quality resizing

Large downscales are rendered progressively before the final pass to retain cleaner edges and detail.

02

Complete device presets

Generate core mobile, tablet, laptop, desktop, Full-HD and QHD widths in a single processing run.

03

Custom responsive widths

Add your own target widths to match any website theme, component, design system or content layout.

04

Batch processing

Select many source images and create all selected output sizes automatically without repeating the setup.

05

ZIP + individual downloads

Download a single generated file or package the complete responsive output into one convenient ZIP archive.

06

Responsive HTML output

Copy ready-to-adapt <picture> and srcset markup using generated AVIF, WebP, JPEG and PNG responsive sources.

07

Duplicate detection

Exact source duplicates can be identified client-side with SHA-256 before you waste time generating repeats.

08

Private local processing

Source images are not uploaded for conversion. Native browser codecs and downloaded local-running codec modules perform decoding and encoding on the device.

09

Installable offline-capable PWA

Install AutoWebP as an app on supported devices and reopen the cached application shell directly.

PROGRESSIVE WEB APP

Use AutoWebP like a dedicated app.

Install it from a supported browser for a standalone window, fast reopening and an offline-capable application shell. Your image work remains on the device.

Free multi-format image converter and responsive image generator

AutoWebP is designed for people who need more than a one-format converter. It accepts major still-image sources including JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC/HEIF, TIFF, GIF, BMP, SVG and ICO, then generates selected responsive outputs in WebP, AVIF, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, BMP and ICO while preserving aspect ratio and preventing responsive upscaling.

Use independent WebP, AVIF and JPEG quality controls, select standard device widths or enter custom sizes, choose one or several output formats, then download individual files or the complete batch as a ZIP. Source images are processed on-device; codec modules needed by formats such as AVIF, HEIC/HEIF, TIFF and GIF may be downloaded and cached for local execution.
