AutoWebP

AutoWebP is a standalone browser-based responsive image engine derived from the functional design of Omega Image Engine. It removes the WordPress dependency and provides the optimization workflow directly in a normal web browser.

What it does

AutoWebP creates optimized full-size copies and responsive variants while preserving the source aspect ratio. The original Omega responsive widths are 320, 768 and 1536 pixels, and variants are not enlarged beyond the source width.

Local processing

The converter uses browser image decoding and canvas encoding. Selected images are not posted to a server by the application code.

AutoWebP is powered by the Omega image-processing concept and is designed as an independent pure HTML/CSS/JavaScript application and Progressive Web App.
